Hello, I'm Helga Jackson.
Wouldn't you agree that there's something inspiring about a woman who has truly embraced her authentic style?
From a young age, I've been intrigued by the understated confidence and authority that put-together women carry. They appear completely at ease within themselves, and I wanted to understand what created that.
This fascination, paired with my creative nature, has fuelled my lifelong love affair with all things style, make-up and beauty. Make no mistake, I do not possess a passion for fashion. Rather, I strive to understand how colour, clothing and personal presentation can influence not only how we look and feel about ourselves — regardless of age, figure shape or budget — but also how we show up and are perceived in the world.
True style isn't acquired — it's revealed.
The very same struggles
But here's the thing… knowing about style hasn't made me immune to the very same struggles so many of us women experience.
I've had to come to terms with a changing body. I've stood in front of a wardrobe and wondered what on earth to wear. I've looked at old photographs and been tempted to compare the woman I am today with the woman I was then. And yes, I've had to let go of my own idea of “size perfect.”
Perhaps it's my genuine compassion for women, combined with my love of good style, that makes this work so meaningful to me. There's something beautiful about helping a woman see herself through kinder eyes, recognise what naturally suits her and discover that looking and feeling put-together doesn't have to be complicated or cost a fortune.
